Shamrock Farms® Irish Whiskey Eggnog Apple Pie

Ingredients
  • Ingredients for Cinnamon Butter Streusel Topping:
    ¼ cup Chopped Pecans
  • ¼ cup White Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
  • 7 tbsp melted Shamrock Farms® Unsalted Butter
  • ½ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Ingredients for Apple Pie:
    ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 Red Apples, cored and quartered
  • 3 Green Apples, cored and quartered
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Shamrock Farms® Irish Whiskey Eggnog
  • ¼ cup melted Shamrock Farms® Unsalted Butter
  • 1 9-inch Premade Pie Crust
  • Ingredients for Whipped Cream Topping:
    1 pint Shamrock Farms® Vanilla Bourbon Whipping Cream
Cooking instructions
  1. Instructions for Cinnamon Butter Streusel Topping:
    Combine all dry ingredients
  2. Pour melted butter over mixture and toss until crumbly.
  3. Pour melted butter over mixture and toss until crumbly.
  4. Instructions for Apple Pie:
    Set oven to preheat at 400 degrees.
  5. Mix all-purpose flour, salt, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon in a mixing bowl, and reserve ¼ of this mixture for later
  6. Place Shamrock Farms® Unsalted Butter, apples, and remaining dry mixture in a skillet over medium heat, melting butter and brown sugar until a “syrup” is formed and apples are fully coated
  7. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  8. Pour Shamrock Farms® Irish Whiskey Eggnog over apples, and top with the reserved ¼ cup of dry mixture
  9. Place pie in oven to bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes
  10. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake pie for 40 minutes
  11. Add cinnamon butter streusel topping, and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown
  12. Allow pie to cool to room temperature
  13. Whip Shamrock Farms® Vanilla Bourbon Whipping Cream to a stiff peak
  14. Slice and enjoy!
