Holiday Eggnog Bread

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Shamrock Farms Eggnog
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons active yeast
  • 1/3 cup mixed candied fruits and peels
  • 1 cup sifted powdered sugar
  • additional/spare Shamrock Farms Eggnog
Cooking instructions
  1. Add all ingredients except for the powdered sugar into a 2-pound bread machine according to the manufacturer’s directions.
  2. Select the basic white bread cycle.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the powdered sugar and additional Shamrock Farms Eggnog (1 to 2 tablespoons) to make a glaze.
  4. Drizzle the cooled loaf with glaze.
