Raspberry Sour Cream Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Shamrock Farms Light Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shamrock Farms Fat Free mmmmilk
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 2 cups raspberries
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4+ mint leaves to garnish

Directions

In a saucepan, combine the raspberries, wine and sugar. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring until the berries are soft and the mixture is sauce-like, about 8 minutes. Remove the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate until cold.

Combine the milk, yogurt, sour cream and corn syrup together in a mixing bowl. Pour the mixture into a prepared ice cream machine and freeze according to a manufacturer’s directions, about 25 minutes.

Fold in the raspberry mixture in the last 5 minutes of mixing. Remove the finished soft-serve mixture to a bowl and serve or freeze to desired consistency. Top with mint for a crisp, cool treat.
