Eggnog Cherry Nut Loaf
Yield: 2 loaves
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups Shamrock Farms Eggnog
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
Directions
In mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix eggnog, egg and oil together. Stir into dry ingredients mixing well. Fold in nuts and cherries. Turn into 2 greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 50 minutes.
