Caramelized Bermuda and Chive Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz. container Shamrock Farms Sour Cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large red onion julienne
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • 1 bag chopped frozen spinach
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon chicken broth seasoning (in shakers)
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions

Sauté olive oil, red onions in a sauté pan on med. to high heat. Sauté until onions start to turn golden-brown. Add garlic, continue to sauté for approx. 5 minutes. Remove from heat and put in a shallow pan. Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Strain spinach of all moisture.

In a mixing bowl, combine additional ingredients, including Shamrock Farms Sour Cream. Dip will be fairly thick.

Serve with chips or vegetables.
