Roxie’s Swedish Toast
Enjoy this dish featuring Shamrock Farms Sour Cream.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Shamrock Farms Sour Cream
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 package sliced almonds
- 4 cups flour
- Powdered sugar
Directions
Set oven to 350 degrees F. Cream together butter, sugar and beaten eggs. Add the Shamrock Farms Sour Cream, baking soda, almond extract, almonds and flour. Pour batter into three greased loaf pans and bake for 50 minutes. Cool in refrigerator overnight. To prepare, slice bread and toast in a 250-degree F oven, being careful not to burn. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
