Shamrock Farms’ Roxie seeks Halloween costume suggestions

Local dairy joins “got milk?” in celebrating chocolate milk as the Official Drink of Halloween

PHOENIX (October 19, 2010)—A member of the national “got milk?” campaign, Arizona’s hometown dairy Shamrock Farms is joining in celebrating chocolate milk as the Official Drink of Halloween with spooktacular giveaways and appearances.

Shamrock Farms will be at the Phoenix Zoo’s Boo! at the Zoo, pouring the wickedly delicious drink and participating in the popular mascot party. But with the public’s help, Roxie will be wearing more than her usual outfit!

Shamrock Farms and Roxie are currently seeking ideas for Roxie’s Halloween costume. Suggestions may be posted on Shamrock Farms Facebook page – www.facebook.com/shamrockfarms.

“Roxie wants to dress up with everyone else and requested that we please pick a costume. But we thought it’d be more fun to let the public pick our dairy diva’s Halloween costume,” said Pam Crist, brand manager for Shamrock Farms.

Everyone who makes a suggestion will receive a Roxie trick-or-treat giveaway including a cash cow for the Official Drink of Halloween, one child admission to Shamrock Farms Farm Tour, and temporary Roxie and Official Drink of Halloween tattoos (trick-or-treat giveaway limited to the first 50 costume suggestions).

One scary good suggestion will be selected by Shamrock Farms and Roxie for her to wear to the Boo! at the Zoo mascot party – with the winning suggestion announced just prior to Boo! at the Zoo taking place on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Valley residents are invited to join Shamrock Farms and Roxie at Boo! at the Zoo on Saturday, Oct. 23 and Sunday, Oct. 24 for money-saving coupons and frightfully fun giveaways! And everyone in attendance will get to enjoy Shamrock Farms’ rich and creamy chocolate milk. Providing the same nine essential nutrients as white milk including calcium, bones love that chocolate milk is the Official Drink of Halloween!
